Represented by Ana Rodrigues and Manuel Oliveira, 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗗/CoLAB VINES&WINES took part in the RETINA project kick-off meeting, which took place on December 12 and 13 in Vigo.
The project, funded by Horizon Europe, aims to develop two new photonics-based sensory systems, covering hardware and software solutions to meet the personalized and high value-added needs of the health, automotive and agricultural sectors. With regard to the wine sector, the RETINA project will provide new proximal detection instruments (aerial and terrestrial) and an image processing methodology to unlock and combine the potential of broadband HSI and the LIDAR system for water stress monitoring and early detection of grapevine wood diseases.
