ADVID/CoLAB VINES&WINES, partner of VINIoT, participated in the final event of this project through Nelson Machado and Igor Gonçalves.
The event, which took place on February 9th at Feuga, in Santiago de Compostela, aimed to present the results of this project, namely the IoT sensor network developed to boost the digital transformation of wine SMEs in the SUDOE space. This project resulted, besides the development of a multispectral camera which will allow the non-destructive evaluation of the grape ripeness, in a platform which will allow the remote monitoring through a network of sensors connected by nodes, and a HUB, where the interested entities will be able to identify technological partners, or offer their services, with free registration (https://viniot.eu/hub/).
The consortium was made up of 8 partners from Portugal, Spain and France, in the fields of education and research, technology and knowledge transfer. In Portugal, in addition to ADVID/CoLAB VINES&WINES, its associate Real Companhia Velha is also participating in this project as a stakeholder, by making available its vineyards for field trials, and a network of sensors has also been installed in a plot that served as the Demofarm of this project.
